Mr. Pethoud’s Report Proud of students and their accomplishments at Festival. Our Concert Band played first Saturday morning and set the bar high – mostly II’s were awarded until the end of the day. Another cause of low scores was that one of the adjudicators was late, forcing a Sight Reading judge to sit in with the first concert performance. All the Brighton performances were very good. Woodland Village has asked the state solo/ens groups to perform on March 13th, before their competition on March 15th. Wind Ensemble auditions will begin after school the week of March 17th. Percussion auditions are handled differently. They will be in late April/early May.
Middle School Reports Maltby - Mr. Osborn No report. Scranton – Mrs. Hoffman No report.
Motion to adjourn by Sue Pethoud, supported by Sue Sanderson. All in favor. Adjourned at 8:26 pm. Respectfully submitted,
